Born and raised in Miltenberg, Germany, Annabell graduated with a diploma in Chemistry from the Julius-Maximilians University in Würzburg in 2011. From there, she joined the group of Prof. Oliver S. Wenger and earned her PhD in 2015 at the University of Basel in Switzerland. Since March 2017 Annabell is a Tar Heel, after she arrived as a Visiting Scholar in the group of Prof. Thomas J. Meyer. In August 2017 she then became a PostDoc in the Miller group, where she plans to put her knowledge in Photochemistry to good use and learn some serious Electrochemistry.
